Do you think my dentist will fix it at discount?
Tiffany C asked:
I had a cavity on a front tooth, and the filling chipped off a huge chunk just now, and theres a crater in the front of my tooth :S Do you think he might fix it since it was his filling that failed? Or will I have to pay... how much is it without insurance?

Fillings are not made to last forever, you could have developed more decay under the filling. the only way you will know for sure is to call and ask
Well, My dentist would if it had not been very long since he filled it.
How long has it been>
If it has been a while I doubt he would discount it.
Good Luck

if it happened right away, then probably not, but you’ll have to pay around $120- $200
Fillings do fail, especially on front teeth. They don’t last forever. How long has it been there?
sounds similar to a situation I was in.
I chipped off half of my front tooth in a skiing accident awhile ago. part of the filling chipped last month. Cost about $150 to get it fixed no INS. My insurance company routinely did not pay more than a few peanuts for dental fillings anyway.
I doubt you’ll get a discount to get it fixed. These are fillings, not indestructible black boxes that they’re doing.
Call your dentist’s staff and ask if they can give you a discount because of difficulty to pay reasons and they may be able to help you out.
Honestly, it depends on your dentist and how long ago you had that filling for. I know my dentist, she really stands by her work and if something like that would happen to me, she wouldn’t charge me. But, there are other dentists who charge for everything. I’ve been going to my dentist for a while and she’s really honest.
It all depends on the dentist. Pull up this website

Hope this helps

If it’s a smaller roast you can get away with 2 hours. Another option: cut a larger roast into smaller “2 serving” mini-roasts.
I think you may already need a root canal and you should try to get an appointment with another dentist. If you wait any longer you'll be in alot of pain within a month 2 tops
