Can A General Dentist Check To See If I Suffer From Periodontics And Give Me Periodontal Treatment?
When i go to a general dentist can they check to see if i suffer from PERIODONTICS AND GIVE ME Periodontal treatment for that online pharmacy without prescription or do i have to go to a specialist?

A general dentist should be able to determine if you have periodontal disease by doing a thorough dental exam. The exam would likely include a full set of xrays (approximately 16 xrays) that would allow them to assess for bone loss around the teeth and by doing a full periodontal probing which is where readings are taken with a small ruler (probe) to measure the space between the gums and the teeth. Depending on how comfortable the dentist (or hygienist) is and the technology that they have they may treat you or refer you to a periodontist who specializes in that type of care. Whether your hygienist is working for a general office or periodontal office they are all basically trained the same. The periodontist is more likely than a general dentist to be able to due gum and bone surgeries to help correct and improve a periodontal situation. Good luck!

While gum disease can be attributable to many things such as diabetes, stress, and medications, the fact is that the majority of Americans who are afflicted with gum disease have nothing more to blame than a combination of poor dental hygiene, poor nutrition, and tobacco use (if you are a smoker). Gum disease is no laughing matter folks. It is a very serious and unnecessary risk to your health, not to mention your smile and ability to chew solid food into your twilight years.
The early stage of gum disease is gingivitis, where the gums redden, swell, and bleed easily, yet can be reversed with professional cleanings and proper dental hygiene. However, if left untreated, gingivitis can progress into periodontitis. Periodontitis is much more of a threat, and with time, plaque can spread below the gum line, creating a breeding ground for harmful bacteria and toxins. These toxins produce a chronic inflammatory response that cause the tissue and bone that support the teeth to be broken down and destroyed. Gums will separate from the teeth, forming pockets which can become infected by the already present bacteria. Ultimately, if no action has been taken, the resulting bone loss and infection will call for the tooth to be removed in the afflicted area.
Sadly, gums cannot regenerate themselves, and the bones that hold your beautiful teeth in place will not reform. But, if caught soon enough (before your teeth fall out of your head), gum disease can be stopped dead in its tracks, pockets will close up, gums will become toned and healthy, and the former threat of bone loss will no longer exist.

Yes, they can refer you to a specialist. My husband was refered to his hygenist by his dentist. Then periodontist by his hygenist if his condition doesn’t improve.
Yes. I have been to my regular doctor for this. They give you the treatment right there in the chair. Its not pleasant, but can be done by your regular dentist.
The general dentist can diagnose PERIODONTITIS…. which is the disease you speak of. If you do have periodontal disease and the pockets are only moderately deep– 5 to 6mm, the treatment is often performed in your general dentist’s office “non-surgically.”
If probing depths are generally deeper than that–7mm +, then you would likely be referred to a Periodontist for treatment, whic may be “surgical” in nature.
PERIODONTICS is the actual study/subject.

Most office’s today have hygienist that can do periodontal treatments and yes they can tell you. If the periodontal disease is too bad tho, you should go to a periodontist, they will go under your gums surgically and clean the root of the tooth. A good hygientist can determine this and should be able to answer all your questions.
