“That is not a provider issue. I have one of the best health care plans in this state. I called the oral surgeon and they had the scheduling issues. I guess I could have went to another surgeon, but he was highly recommended. I’m not one that likes going to the dentist, let alone an oral surgeon. So the recommendation was very much a part of my decision. Yes, we need people to have the ability to buy into healthcare. However, when government gets involved, it puts strains on the system. Financially, a government option is not even feasible. But when you force people to be in a system, people abuse it. That is the reason for long lines and 4 months of waiting for elective surgery. How else can you explain the long wait times and having the 2nd highest cost for Massachusetts (if you include District of Columbia)?”
